Peshawar :scores of employees of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar on Thursday staged a protest demonstration against the KP Government’s decision of merging all the educational boards into the Peshawar board.
The rally was started from sadar Road to Peshawar press club , where it turned into a protest demonstration, led by BISE Peshawar General Secretary Nawab shah board employees’ union chairman inam ullah ,Vice chairman Muhammad Alam and other office bearers.
The large number of employees of BISE Peshawar attended the rally.
The protesters were holding banners inscribed with their demands and raising slogans against the KP Government.
The protesters also raised slogans against the KP Government’s decision of abolishing all the education boards and merging them into one board.
The protesters said that they would never accept this decision.
The employees said that Shaukat Yousafzai and the education minister are saying that all the education boards will work in their place.
If the government wants to bring any reforms, it can involve the chairmen of all the boards.
They said , Our protest is going on now, if the government does not accept our demands, we will go to Swat and protest in front of the Chief Minister’s house, if there is no success, then all boards employees will go to Bani Gala and protest.
