Peshawar : President of Pakistan Sports Writers Federation, General Secretary of AIPS Asia and Senior Journalist Amjad Aziz Malik has said in the general body meeting of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Writers yesterday that the international sports conference will be held in Peshawar next month. In which sports journalists from 22 countries will participate. In the media center of Qayyum Sports Complex, he said that this conference will help in bringing forward the positive and peaceful face of Pakistan in the whole world.

In the conference, under the Young Reporters Program, 40 young journalists will be given useful and effective lectures regarding sports journalism. Journalists related to domestic and foreign sports will be given a tour of sports facilities in sports complexes in Peshawar, including Charsadda, Mardan and Kohat. On this occasion, the new office of Association of International Press for Sports (AIPS) Asia will also be inaugurated.

Journalists associated with domestic and foreign sports will also be given a visit to the historical city of Peshawar. The conference on international sports will also see the launch of a historical book written on the “Football World Cup” and the award ceremony of the Sports Writers Association.
