Electronic cigarettes have gained immense popularity and their use has increased dramatically all over the world. However, little is known about the knowledge and attitudes towards e-cigarettes in third world countries such as Pakistan.
This innovation has captivated widespread interest, particularly among the youth, fostering a growing number of experimentations. There has been a substantial surge in awareness and usage of e-cigarettes, especially among adolescents in college universities students of KPK Pakistan.
In recent years, the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) in Pakistan has witnessed a concerning surge in the use of electronic cigarettes, commonly known as e-cigarettes. This emerging trend is raising alarm bells among health professionals and policymakers alike, as the popularity of these devices continues to grow, especially among the youth.E-cigarettes, often marketed as a safer alternative to traditional tobacco products, have become increasingly popular due to their discreet nature and perceived reduced health risks. However, the rapid adoption of e-cigarettes in KPK is giving rise to a host of public health concerns.
One of the primary issues is the appeal of these devices to younger demographics. E-cigarettes are often flavored, making them more enticing to teenagers and young adults.
